Toad Hall Lodges

Row of holiday lodges at Toad Hall Lodges in Wangford

Nestled in Wangford, just a stone’s throw from Southwold, Toad Hall is home to Gavin and Emma. Over the last year, the couple has created Toad Hall Lodges, a beautiful lifestyle retreat centred around five timber lodges, each sleeping two adults. There is even a gym and exercise area on site that faces a vast cornfield. The entire space is so tranquil and is within walking distance of Southwold and the beautiful Hen Reedbeds Nature reserve.

Towards the end of last year, Gavin asked if I could provide some imagery for their website and brochure. Toad Hall Lodges required this imagery to sell this beautiful Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. I was more than delighted to oblige and work closely with Gavin and Emma to provide a wide range of imagery of the nearby surroundings. From this, I was asked if I would mind capturing some content for both their social media and website.

I could tell from the off that Gavin and Emma have exquisite taste and fine attention to detail. Each lodge has been perfectly crafted and has all those little details that bring an actual luxury hotel feeling to your stay. The mattresses are memory foam, and all the lodges have Nespresso machines. The goal for both Gavin and Emma was to create a comfortable base to explore the coast, and it’s safe to say that they’ve done that!

I can’t thank Daniel enough. His images have enabled me to get my business started a lot faster. Dan is very talented and I would definitely recommend him, professionally and personally.

Staying at Toad Hall Lodges

Following this shoot, I had the pleasure of staying at Toad Hall Lodges. Staying here is such an experience. Everything inside and out has been carefully considered, along with charming luxury touches. The bed also has a memory foam mattress, which makes for a great night’s sleep. It was great to experience it as a guest rather than behind the lens. Though I knew it would be a wonderful place to stay from the off.

Toad Hall Lodges is a terrific place to escape from the noise and enjoy true peace and tranquillity, and it’s so close to many of the beautiful coastal spots here in Suffolk. Many of which you would have already discovered via my website. When your day is over, you can relax by the fire pit and take in a beautiful sunset with a glass or two. Check out my reel below to experience my stay at Toad Hall Lodges.
